Overview

This tandem skydive takes place in Tauranga, located in New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty region. The total duration is about 90 minutes. The experience begins with a scenic flight lasting 20 to 25 minutes over the Bay of Plenty, providing views of Mount Maunganui and the area’s golden beaches. From the plane at 15,000 feet, participants can see White Island, Mount Ruapehu, the Rotorua Lakes, the Coromandel Peninsula, and Mount Taranaki. After reaching the jump altitude, the tandem skydive includes a freefall reaching speeds of 200 km/h before the parachute opens and the descent continues back to the landing area near Tauranga. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included in the price. Video and photo packages are available for purchase on the day but are not included. There is a weight limit of 110 kilograms for participants.

Please choose the start time that is most convenient for you. Please arrive at Skydive Tauranga 30 minutes before the time you have selected, this gives our experienced instructors plenty of time to brief you on your jump. Enjoy a 20-25 minute scenic flight taking in the breathtaking views of The Mount and golden beaches expanding as far as the eye can see. Higher up, you’ll be able to see White Island, Mount Ruapehu, the Rotorua Lakes, The Coromandel and even Mount Taranaki. Freefall for up to 40 seconds, reaching over 200kph! Your instructor will pull the parachute at 5000ft, and if you're feeling brave pass you the control for the 5 minute canopy ride down
