Awarded the Honorary President's Prize at the 23rd National Confectionery Exposition for its signature confection, "Whispers of the Catfish." In addition, our products, including premium wagashi, have been honored with Imperial Designation as offerings to His Majesty the Emperor. Founded in 1868, we have consistently upheld traditional techniques and selected only the finest ingredients. While preserving classic flavors, we incorporate modern production methods and innovative textures to craft each product into a unique masterpiece that embodies tradition and innovation, showcasing the one-of-a-kind flavor and charm of Tani Tsune.

Highlights

GOKOCHI's confections, starting with the signature "Whispers of the Catfish," are deeply rooted in the natural beauty and seasonal changes of the Tajima region. These exquisite sweets are born amidst lush green mountains, drawing on clear, pure water and carefully selected, meticulously cultivated ingredients from specific production areas, embodying the blessings of nature and the care of skilled artisans.
Located approximately 10 minutes by taxi from JR Yoka Station, the store features a LABO wagashi-making experience classroom.
Here, you can create traditional wagashi with skilled wagashi artisans, or create your own original cake, for endless fun.
