Ifrane and Azrou Forest

Travel through Ifrane, a ski resort constructed by the French in the 1930s to look like a Swiss village. Explore the cedar forest near Azrou and watch the monkeys living in the trees.

Midelt Lunch and Atlas Crossing

Spend most of the day traveling through forests, springs, rock formations, and Berber villages while crossing the Atlas Mountains. Stop for lunch in Midelt, known for its fossils and rocks, then continue toward Merzouga.

Merzouga Camel Trek and Desert Camp

Arrive in Merzouga around 5 pm where a guide and camels await. After a break, begin a two-hour camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes to the desert camp. At the camp, camels are secured and mint tea is served. After dinner, spend the night in a Berber tent and watch the stars.
