Overview

This 2-hour Segway tour begins at Absolutely Chicago Segway Tours, where participants should arrive 15 minutes early to check in and complete waivers. After receiving helmets, guests watch a safety training video and have a one-on-one session with the guide to learn how to operate the Segway. The guided ride covers about 7 to 8 miles, starting with a glide through Grant Park to Buckingham Fountain, where the group stops briefly. The tour continues to Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears, followed by stops near the Field Museum of Natural History and Shedd Aquarium, both located within the Museum Campus area. Throughout the 30-minute segment along the Chicago lakefront, the guide shares information and points out photo opportunities with the city skyline. The group size is limited to eight participants per guide. Included are the Segway rental, helmet use, training, and a professional guide. Food, drinks, and gratuities are not included. The tour operates in all weather conditions, with ponchos provided if needed. Riders must be at least 12 years old, weigh between 100 and 260 pounds, be able to stand unassisted for the duration, and ascend stairs without help. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
