The 2-hour lunch cruise on Portland's Willamette River begins with boarding at 11 am. The boat departs at 11:30 am and returns by 1:30 pm. Guests are seated at private reserved tables, though window seating is not guaranteed. During the cruise, live piano music accompanies a freshly prepared Northwest lunch, which includes a choice of entrée. Salad, appetizers, dessert, and beverages are not included but can be purchased onboard. Historical narration is available on the outer decks, or guests may use headphones with their cell phones to listen to the commentary. The vessel passes under several notable bridges including the Hawthorne Bridge, built in 1910 and the oldest vertical lift bridge in operation in the United States; the Marquam Bridge with a main span of 440 feet; the Tilikum Crossing, Portland’s newest bridge featuring LED lights that change based on water conditions; the Ross Island Bridge designed by Gustav Lindernthal; the Sellwood Bridge, the busiest two-lane bridge in Oregon; the Morrison Bridge; and the Burnside Bridge, known for its Italian Renaissance-style towers.
