This three-day tour combines rail and coach travel to cover key sights in Ireland's west and south-west. Starting from Dublin Heuston Station, travelers use trains and coaches to reach each destination. A qualified driver-guide accompanies the group on coaches, and a host is available on trains. Reserved seats on trains are included. Accommodation is provided for two nights in bed and breakfast lodging with full Irish breakfast each morning. The itinerary includes a visit to Blarney Castle, time spent exploring the Ring of Kerry region, and entry to the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre. The tour allows stops for photographs and shopping along the route. An information pack is supplied to assist travelers. Breakfast is included daily. Food and drinks beyond breakfast are not included. Gratuities are also not included. Some accommodations have ensuite bathrooms, which may be inside or outside the room. The tour schedule may change occasionally due to operational needs. In winter, local village shops and cafes may be closed, but the main attractions remain accessible. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the tour. The tour involves moderate physical activity such as short walks to meeting points and is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility impairments, as coaches do not accommodate wheelchairs or scooters. When booking double occupancy rooms, travelers must specify preference for double or twin beds if required.
Blarney Castle and Village
Arriving in Cork at 09:35, the coach proceeds through Cork City to Blarney Village and Blarney Castle. Visitors may explore the gardens and have time to kiss the stone, said to grant the gift of eloquence. There is also time for shopping and lunch in Blarney Village. Departure from Blarney is at 13:30, approximately, or as directed by the Host, traveling to Cóbh after a brief tour of the city centre.

Cóbh and Heritage Centre
Upon arrival at Cóbh, the group visits St Colman’s Cathedral before walking along the seafront past the former White Star Line offices to the Victorian railway station, now the Cóbh Heritage Centre. Entrance to the Queenstown Story exhibition is included, covering the town’s renaming history and its role as the RMS Titanic’s last port. The centre also presents information on the Great Famine and Irish Emigration. Cóbh was the refuge for survivors of the Lusitania sinking and serves as the Irish Navy headquarters, where navy ships may be seen. Departure from Cóbh is at 16:15 or as directed by the host, proceeding to Mallow.

Cliffs of Moher via Doolin
Before reaching the Cliffs of Moher, a lunch break is scheduled at O’Connor’s Pub located in Doolin. The cliffs rank among the highest sea cliffs in Western Europe. Visitors have ample time to explore this site, which is Ireland’s second most visited attraction, with the host providing details on the departure time.

Coast Road to Galway via Burren
After departing the Cliffs of Moher, the journey follows the coast road toward Galway, with an opportunity for photos in The Burren National Park. The term Burren derives from the Irish language and means ‘rocky place’. This park is recognized for its unique and diverse plant species, rare in Ireland and Europe. The route passes the villages of Kinvara and Ballyvaughan along the coast before merging onto the main road leading to Galway. Arrival at Galway Station is expected shortly after 17:00. Passengers should present their Railtours Ireland ticket and travel pack at the station entrance, where staff will direct them to their reserved train seats and the host will be available.
Limerick, Bunratty Castle & Folk Park
Between 07:00 and 07:15, guests are collected from their accommodation and transported by road to Limerick City to join the coach departing for the Cliffs of Moher and Galway Bay excursion. After a brief tour of the city, the group visits Bunratty Castle with admission included.
