Overview

The Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya is known for its wide variety of wildlife and distinctive landscapes. This 3-day safari departs from Nairobi and includes travel in a 4x4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof for game viewing. On the first day, the trip begins with a morning drive from Nairobi to Maasai Mara, stopping for lunch in Narok town, the largest Maasai settlement. Arriving in the afternoon, guests take a game drive before having dinner and overnight accommodation in a tented camp. The second day is spent entirely in Maasai Mara with flexible game drives aimed at spotting the Big Five - lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant - as well as other animals like zebras, crocodiles, gazelles, and wildebeest. Guests can take picnic lunches to maximize time in the park. There is an optional visit to a local Maasai village at an extra cost. All meals and overnight stay are at the camp. On the final day, after breakfast, there is another optional Maasai village visit before driving back to Nairobi, with arrival around 5 PM and drop-off at the accommodation. The safari includes mineral water, a professional driver-guide, transport in the 4x4 vehicle, and full board lodging. Entrance fees, gratuities, and Maasai village visits are not included.
