Overview

This 9 to 10 hour bus tour departs from Dubai with pickup from the hotel or a selected location between 8:00 AM and 8:45 AM (later on Fridays). Travel is by a clean, air-conditioned vehicle with a professional licensed guide. The first stop is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates. Visitors spend about 90 minutes here to view its contemporary Islamic architecture, including the world’s largest chandelier and the largest handmade carpet. After the mosque, the tour continues with a 10-minute photo stop outside the Louvre Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island to see its distinctive architecture. Next, the bus drives along the Abu Dhabi Corniche, where there is a photo stop to view the waterfront, beaches, and promenade. The group then stops at Marina Mall for a lunch break of about one hour; lunch is not included but can be purchased at the mall’s restaurants or food court. Following lunch, the tour visits Qasr Al Watan, the Royal Palace of Abu Dhabi, where visitors spend about 90 minutes exploring the palace grounds and exhibits. Guided tours inside the palace are not allowed, but the guide provides information before the visit. A shuttle bus takes visitors from the main gate to the palace entrance. The tour also passes Emirates Palace, where guests can stop for photos outside but do not enter the building. At the end of the day, the group ascends the Etihad Tower observation deck for panoramic views. The tour concludes with return transportation to the hotel or selected location in Dubai. Dress codes apply at the mosque: women must wear long, loose clothing covering arms, legs, and head; abayas and scarves can be provided if needed. Men must cover shoulders and knees. Tattoos must be covered for mosque entry. The itinerary may vary, and during presidential events, entry to Qasr Al Watan may be replaced with an additional stop at the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Fridays have different pickup times and mosque visiting hours. The total duration depends on traffic conditions.
