Overview

This day trip travels from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates located on an island connected to the mainland by two bridges. The journey takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes, passing the Jebel Ali Port, the world’s largest man-made port. The tour lasts between 8 and 10 hours and is conducted by coach with air conditioning. The itinerary begins with a one-hour visit to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, named after the late president Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The mosque accommodates over 40,000 worshippers, with a main prayer hall seating more than 7,000 and two smaller halls each holding 1,500 people, including a women’s prayer hall. Afterward, there is a 30-minute stop at the Abu Dhabi Dates Market where various types of dates can be purchased. A brief 10-minute stop at The Corniche allows for photos before visiting Emirates Heritage Village for 30 minutes to see a reconstruction of a traditional desert village and crafts workshops. A one-hour break at Marina Mall is provided for lunch (not included). The tour also includes stops at several landmarks: Qasr Al Watan, the official presidential palace; Etihad Towers, a group of five buildings in the city; Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental hotel; and Manarat al Saadiyat on Saadiyat Island, a cultural and nature project 500 meters off Abu Dhabi’s coast. The final stop is a 30-minute visit to Ferrari World on Yas Island for photos. All fees and taxes are included, but lunch is not provided.
