This is a full-day scenic daytrip from Granada to the Alpujarra villages, lasting about eight hours. The tour begins with a stop at Puente Nazari de Tablate, a historic bridge and gorge that once served as an important entrance to Granada. After approximately thirty minutes, the group continues to Lanjaron for a brief visit of around thirty minutes in this town known as the City of Water. Next, the tour proceeds to Capileira, the highest of the three main Alpujarra villages. Here, guests have about two hours to walk through the village and reach elevated viewpoints overlooking the Poqueira gorge and, on clear days, the Mulhacén peak. Following Capileira, the tour moves to Pampaneira, the most colorful village, where there is two hours of free time to explore local textile shops, sample regional products, and have lunch, which is not included. The final stop is Fuente Agria, where the group spends about thirty minutes tasting naturally sparkling iron-rich water before returning to Granada. Transportation is provided in a comfortable small-group van with a maximum of eight guests. The tour includes expert commentary in English and Spanish throughout, as well as all necessary travel and transport insurance.
