Overview

This 6-7 hour guided walking tour begins at the helicopter pad on La Digue Island, where travelers meet their local guide. From there, transport takes the group to Grand Anse beach, the starting point of the walk toward Anse Marron beach. The walk involves navigating rocky terrain and requires a reasonable level of fitness and balance. About halfway through the trek, the group arrives at Anse Marron beach, which features a larger open beach area and a smaller beach with access to a lagoon protected by rock formations. Participants have about one to one and a half hours here, depending on the tide, to rest and enjoy a light lunch provided at the beach. After lunch, the tour continues to Anse Source d'Argent beach, known for its distinctive rock formations and being one of the most photographed beaches in Seychelles. Visitors may spend up to an hour here before moving on to L'Union Estate Park. Entrance fees to the park are not included. At the park, travelers can view giant tortoises, a vanilla plantation, and an old plantation house museum. The tour ends near the helicopter pad where it began. Transfers between stops are included throughout the tour. Participants should wear suitable footwear such as trekking or water shoes due to walking on rocks and occasional water crossings. Carrying at least 1.5 liters of drinking water is necessary. The tour is not suitable for children under 5 and requires a confident fitness level. No hotel pickup or drop-off is provided; all meet at the starting point. Weather conditions may affect the tour schedule, with options for rescheduling or refunds if canceled.
