Overview

This 2-hour tour in Cozumel begins with check-in at Atlantis Submarines Cozumel, where guests should arrive at least 30 minutes before departure. After check-in, guests wait in the Explorers’ Lounge and watch an introductory video. A passenger boat then transfers guests to the dive site. The main activity is a 45-minute submarine dive aboard the Atlantis XII, descending to depths of 100 feet (30 meters) to explore the Chankanaab Reef, part of the Mesoamerican Reef System. During the dive, passengers see the Cozumel wall, which drops 600 meters, and the Felipe Xicoténcatl, the largest sunken ship in the area, now serving as an artificial reef within the protected marine park. After surfacing, the boat returns guests to the base. The tour includes exclusive access to the Atlantis Submarine TS|| and a commemorative digital dive certificate. Guests may visit the on-site boutique to purchase souvenirs. An additional Marine Park fee must be paid separately. Gratuities, government fees, onboard restrooms, and an optional photo package are not included. The tour also features a sunset component, allowing guests to experience the reef area as daylight fades. Participants must be able to safely use a 12-step ladder and meet age, height, and health requirements. The activity is subject to weather conditions and safety regulations.
