Overview

This motorized ATV tour in St Lucia lasts about three hours and covers the Marquis Estate and Grande Anse Beach. The tour begins with hotel pickup from selected hotels and seaports in Castries or Gros Islet. After meeting a local guide, participants ride a fully automatic Yamaha ATV along trails through rural villages to a working banana plantation. The ride continues to the Marquis Estate, a large historic property established in 1723 on the northeast coast of St Lucia. Visitors can see the estate's remains, including a water wheel, an old locomotive, sugar mill ruins, and slave quarters, while looking out over Marquis Bay with its white sand and clear waters. The tour then proceeds to a lookout above Grande Anse Beach, where guests can enjoy fruit juice and views of one of the Caribbean's notable beaches. The guide provides information about the green, hawksbill, and leatherback turtles that nest on the beach from March through August and explains local conservation efforts tracking these turtles. After the ATV ride, participants are returned to their hotels. The tour is suitable for small groups, with a maximum of 14 people, and includes all necessary equipment and bottled water or fruit juice. A minimum of two participants is required per booking.
