Overview

This private day trip from Bangkok lasts about 5 to 7 hours and includes a private car with air conditioning, a guide, and a boat ride. The tour starts with a hotel pickup in central Bangkok at either 7 AM or 9 AM. The first stop is Mae Klong Railway Market, where you spend about an hour walking along the railway tracks and watching the train pass slowly through the busy market. You can sample tropical fruits like mangosteen and rambutan during the visit. About 30 minutes before reaching Mae Klong Market, you have the option to remain in the car or take a short train ride through the market itself. After Mae Klong, the tour continues with a 15-minute drive to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. You will spend around three hours here exploring the canals by private boat, watching local vendors sell goods from boats, and trying recommended Thai desserts and snacks. Special treats included on the trip are creamy coconut ice cream and mango sticky rice.
