Before driving, participants receive a 10 to 15-minute theoretical and practical briefing on site. After the briefing, the group drives safely in formation through the city for about 75 to 80 minutes. The route passes several notable locations including the East Side Gallery of the Berlin Wall, Alexanderplatz near the Berliner Fernsehturm (television tower), Hackescher Markt, Friedrichstraße, the Reichstag building, Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, and Gendarmenmarkt.
