This 90-minute Berlin city tour allows participants to drive a street-legal mini hotrod themselves. The tour starts at the RAW site in Friedrichshain, an area known for its cultural projects, clubs, bars, and exhibition spaces located on the grounds of the former Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk. Before driving, participants receive a 10 to 15-minute theoretical and practical briefing on site. After the briefing, the group drives safely in formation through the city for about 75 to 80 minutes. The route passes several notable locations including the East Side Gallery of the Berlin Wall, Alexanderplatz near the Berliner Fernsehturm (television tower), Hackescher Markt, Friedrichstraße, the Reichstag building, Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, and Gendarmenmarkt. There is a scheduled stop of approximately 5 minutes at the Brandenburg Gate for photos. The tour is conducted without commentary to allow participants to focus on driving, but the guide can pause briefly for photo opportunities upon request. Helmets, petrol, liability and comprehensive insurance with a 1,500 euro excess for self-inflicted damages, and a driver-guide are included. Safety is emphasized throughout the tour.

Hot Rod Tour Berlin
The tour starts and ends at the RAW site near Warschauer Straße in Friedrichshain. The RAW area hosts intercultural projects, exhibitions, markets, clubs, and bars. It takes its name from Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk, a former railway repair workshop and now an alternative cultural space.

The route continues toward the Berlin TV Tower (Fernsehturm), where the tour turns off behind the tower.
Unter Den Linden
The tour passes Unter den Linden, Berlin’s oldest main boulevard and central traffic artery, featuring many restored and new buildings since the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Hackescher Markt
The mini hotrod drives past the Hackescher Markt area without stopping.
Gendarmenmarkt
The tour passes through Gendarmenmarkt, known for its three monumental buildings and considered one of Berlin’s most beautiful squares.
Brandenburg Gate
There is a short 5-minute stop at Brandenburg Gate, the iconic sandstone gate built between 1788 and 1791. This pause allows time for photo opportunities.
