The Bloukrans Bungy Jump takes place at the Bloukrans Bridge in the Western Cape, South Africa. Participants begin by walking along the 216-meter Skywalk that extends out to the bungee platform. After a safety briefing, jumpers perform the bungy jump using pendulum bungee technology designed to provide a smoother and more comfortable descent. After the jump, participants are lifted back up to the bridge by a winch recovery ride. The activity ends with a walk back across the Skywalk to solid ground. The entire experience lasts about one hour and includes a jump certificate, safety briefing, access to the Skywalk, and the winch recovery ride. Video footage and special clothing are available for purchase but are not included. Guests should wear comfortable clothing suitable for jumping and walking, and footwear appropriate for the Skywalk. The maximum weight for jumpers is 150 kilograms. Participants must arrive on site one hour before their scheduled jump time. The activity operates in all weather conditions except during gale-force winds and thunderstorms.
