Overview

This full-day bus tour from Sydney takes visitors to the Blue Mountains with several key stops along the way. The trip begins with a visit to Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, where guests can see native Australian animals such as kangaroos, koalas, and various birds. Visitors have the chance to take photos with the animals, including a koala. Next, the tour continues to Echo Point in Katoomba, providing views of the Three Sisters rock formation. The guide explains Indigenous legends and the history connected to the site while guests enjoy views of the Jamison Valley and the distinctive blue haze over the mountains. Afterward, the group goes to Scenic World. Here, guests can walk along boardwalks through the rainforest canopy or take three included rides: the Scenic Railway, the Cableway, and the Skyway. The Cableway is a glass-floor cabin offering views of Katoomba Falls, the Three Sisters, Orphan Rock, and Mt Solitary. Seating is available in the cabin for those who prefer not to stand on the glass floor. The day concludes with a ferry cruise on the Parramatta River back to Sydney, either Darling Harbour or Circular Quay. This cruise avoids peak-hour traffic and shows views of some of Sydney’s waterfront properties and harbor landmarks. The tour includes national park fees, a driver/guide, live commentary, air conditioning on the bus, and hotel pickup from selected hotels. Lunch is not included and must be purchased independently in Leura Village.
