Overview

This 10.5-hour tour departs from Sydney late morning to avoid peak-hour traffic and travels to the Blue Mountains National Park. The tour begins with a stop in Glenbrook for a 30-minute break where guests can purchase refreshments at their own expense. Next, the tour continues to Leura for another 30-minute stop, allowing time to explore local cafes and shops. The main nature-based activity takes place at Wentworth Falls, where participants take a guided bush walk of about 2 to 4 kilometers. This includes a 90-minute hike down and back up approximately eight flights of stairs to the base of the waterfall, passing through native eucalyptus and tea tree forests. After the walk, the tour visits Katoomba Cascades for about one hour to observe Australian wildlife, including kangaroos active at dusk. The final stop is at either Echo Point Lookout or Lincoln’s Rock for one hour, where guests watch the sunset over the Three Sisters sandstone formation and Jamison Valley. The tour is hosted by an experienced driver-guide who provides commentary in English throughout the trip. Travel is by air-conditioned mini-coach equipped with USB charging ports and WiFi. Translation app services are available in selected languages. Meals are not included but can be purchased at stops along the route. A moderate level of fitness is required for the walks and stairs involved. Children under six years old are not suitable for this tour, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
