This tour traces Boston’s historical landmarks using a renovated World War II amphibious vehicle known as a Duck. The 80-minute guided bus-and-boat tour begins at one of three departure points: the Museum of Science, the New England Aquarium, or the Prudential Center. Guests choose their departure location when booking. A ConDUCKtor narrates the tour, sharing facts and stories about Boston's key sites. The route includes views of Boston Common, the State House with its gold dome, Bunker Hill, Copley Square, Quincy Market, Government Center, the Fleet Center, Newbury Street, and the Prudential Tower. After covering these city highlights on land, the vehicle splashes down into the Charles River for a 20-minute boat ride. This segment offers views of the Boston and Cambridge skylines not visible from the streets. A multi-lingual GPS-activated app is available for download at the Prudential Center and Museum of Science departures, providing narration in several languages. Guests must use their own mobile device with cellular service and headphones to access the app. The tour includes a personal ConDUCKtor narration but does not supply headphones for the app. The amphibious vehicles are wheelchair accessible at all departure sites with prior notice.
