The Story Bridge is a heritage-listed steel cantilever bridge that crosses the Brisbane River. It carries vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians between northern and southern Brisbane suburbs. It is Australia's longest cantilever bridge, opened in 1940, and was tolled until 1947. The road on the bridge is called Bradfield Highway and it connects Fortitude Valley to Kangaroo Point.
