Overview

Upon arrival at Széchenyi Thermal Spa in Budapest, guests scan their QR code to enter one of Europe’s largest thermal bath complexes. This ticket grants access to the spa for about four hours, including full-day use of a cabin or locker to store belongings securely. Visitors can relax in three outdoor pools and fifteen indoor pools, all supplied by natural thermal springs. The spa building features Neo-Baroque architecture dating back to 1913. Visitors spend their time moving between mineral-rich pools and enjoying the lively courtyard atmosphere. The spa allows coed use of pools, saunas, and steam cabins. Towels, swimsuits, and transfers are not included, so guests must bring their own swimwear (excluding full-body swimsuits) and flip flops, which are mandatory for entry; flip flops and swimming caps can be purchased on-site if needed. The outdoor pools require a swimming cap. The spa is closed to children under 14 and is not recommended for pregnant women. Tickets allow one entry only, with opening hours from 7am to 8pm on weekdays and 8am to 8pm on weekends and holidays. Pools and saunas may occasionally close for maintenance, so checking the official website for updates is advised.
