Overview

This ticket grants entry to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park in Limerick for about two to three hours. Present the ticket at the entrance and enter the 15th-century tower house castle. Visitors can explore the castle on their own or join a guided tour to learn more about its furnishings, tapestries, and artwork. After the castle visit, walk through the Folk Park, a recreated 19th-century Irish village featuring farmhouses, cottages, shops, and a village street furnished as they were in that era. Costumed actors portray village life, and visitors can see the school, doctor’s house, grocery, drapery, printers, and other period shops. The pub is open for food and drinks at personal cost. The tour also includes access to the Regency Walled Garden, where heritage plants grow, and the Fairy Trail, which winds through woods and gardens featuring native Irish animals such as Irish Wolfhounds, Irish red deer, and Connemara ponies. Visitors can finish their visit by browsing the gift and craft store or resting in the traditional tea rooms. Live entertainment and all activities in the park are included. Souvenir photos and seasonal entry to Santa at Christmas are not included.
