The tour continues into the Cathedral Precincts, providing access to the grounds surrounding the Cathedral but excluding entry to any indoor attractions. Children can receive an activity sheet and history trail from the guide upon arrival to help engage with the tour. The company running the tour, Canterbury Tourist Guides Ltd, has been offering official guided tours of Canterbury since 1948. All guides have completed accredited training and passed exams from the Institute of Tourist Guiding. Well-behaved dogs on short leads may be allowed at the guide's discretion. Carers accompanying guests with disabilities are admitted free of charge.
