At midday, the group stops for a buffet-style picnic lunch with views over the park. Needles District Visitor Center
The Needles District features towering multicolored rock formations, ancient petroglyphs, desert vegetation such as cactus and sagebrush, and wildlife like birds, lizards, mule deer, and bighorn sheep. Visitors can observe the varied desert landscape and listen to the desert air scented by pinyon and juniper.
Elephant Hill
The guide drives the 4WD vehicle over Elephant Hill, one of southeastern Utah’s most difficult off-road trails. The route continues past Devil's Kitchen and along Devil's Lane before reaching SOB Hill, another challenging section that tests the guide’s driving skills.
Canyonlands National Park
Around midday, the group stops for a buffet-style picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint.
