Capes Raptor Centre is one of Australia’s largest wildlife centers dedicated to caring for and rehabilitating injured, orphaned or displaced birds of prey From up-close encounters to lush native forest trails, a visit to Capes Raptor Centre will provide you with the unique opportunity to meet and interact with birds of prey, including; eagles, hawks, falcons, and owls Stop by for one of the twice-daily Birds of Prey Encounters, an awe-inspiring experience that takes you one step closer to birds of prey. Marvel at their unique adaptions and natural behaviors and experience the rare opportunity to have your photograph taken with a barn owl! An easy hike down one of the native forest trails will allow you to explore and enjoy the bushland sanctuary, home to over 40 resident birds of prey. Not all birds can return to the wild due to permanent injuries, so Capes Raptor Centre provides a home and long-term care Your visit and admission support the ongoing protection and preservation of birds of prey through rehabilitation, conservation, and education.
