Overview

This full-day tour begins with a hotel pickup in Marrakech, followed by a three-hour drive to Casablanca. The first stop is the Sacred Heart Cathedral, a Neo-Gothic building with Moroccan and Art Deco influences, where visitors spend about 30 minutes viewing its white facade, twin towers, and stained glass windows. Next, the tour visits United Nations Square, a busy public plaza connecting Casablanca’s old medina with the modern downtown area. Visitors have around 35 minutes to explore the square, its historic buildings, shops, cafes, and the Kora Ardia fountain. The main feature of the tour is a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, also known as the Big Mosque, which is Morocco’s largest mosque and one of the largest in the world. Visitors spend about one and a half hours here, seeing the detailed tilework, handcrafted wood carvings, marble floors, and the mosque’s tall minaret overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. After the mosque visit, the tour continues to the Corniche, a two-hour waterfront promenade along Casablanca’s Atlantic coast. This area includes palm-lined walkways, beaches, hotels, and restaurants. Visitors can walk along the shore or relax on the beach during this time. Transportation is provided by air-conditioned minibus, including hotel pickup and drop-off in Marrakech, fuel surcharges, and insurance. Entrance fees, lunch, personal expenses, and optional tips are not included. After the visit to the coast, the group returns to Marrakech, completing a day of sightseeing and coastal views lasting about ten and a half hours.
