This private wine tour in Mendoza lasts between five and seven hours and includes transportation with air conditioning. A private chauffeur collects guests from their accommodation and drives them to the first stop, Catena Zapata Winery. At Catena Zapata, guests spend about two hours touring the winery and tasting a selection of Argentine wines. The tasting options include “The blending games,” featuring white clay and Malbec components from the Catena family vineyards; “Wine and music,” a sensory tasting combined with music of five wines including Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec; and “Family is everything,” a tasting of five wines that includes Bonarda and Nicolás Catena Zapata. The choice of tastings depends on availability and guest language. After Catena Zapata, the tour continues with a visit to Casa El Enemigo, Alejandro Vigil’s winery in Chachingo Maipí. Guests spend about three hours here, including a three-course lunch paired with wines from the Los 3 Enemigos line. The lunch highlights the winery’s focus on terroir and biodynamic practices. At the end of the day, the private driver returns guests to their hotel. The tour is suitable only for guests aged 13 and above, as children under 13 are not permitted.
