Overview

This 1-day small-group tour in Central Vietnam lasts about nine hours and includes visits to Paradise Cave and Dark Cave. The tour begins with hotel pickup from either Dong Hoi City or Phong Nha Village, with transportation between sites provided by an air-conditioned minivan. At Paradise Cave, participants explore the longest dry cave in Asia, walking through its extensive chambers for about two hours. The tour then continues to Dark Cave, where several active options are available. These include ziplining into the cave, a natural mudbath unique to this cave in Vietnam, kayaking, and swimming. The zipline has a weight restrictions requiring participants to weigh between 40 and 90 kilograms; those who do not meet this can kayak to the cave entrance instead. The mudbath area requires a minimum height of one meter and is not recommended for children under 1.3 meters due to depth and difficulty. All necessary equipment is provided, including a mining helmet with flashlight, life jacket, and harness. National Park fees, lunch with vegetarian and vegan options upon request, bottled water, and a professional guide are included. Personal insurance for activities inside the caves is covered by the cave operators. Lockers are available at Dark Cave for personal belongings with a refundable deposit. Itinerary

9:20: Visit Paradise Cave - the longest dry cave in Asia. You will then be taken by golf cart (1.6 km) from the main gate through the jungle, to where you will then climb to the mouth of the cave; a climb that boasts spectacular views of the mountainous region around the cave. You'll explore 1 km inside the cave on the wooden bridge and back on the same way. 12:00: Have lunch at Dark Cave restaurant. Here you will enjoy a traditional Vietnamese dish. Vegetarian option available. Please contact us in advance if you have any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate you. 13:00 Visit Dark Cave (located in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park). Participate in the many adventure activities: mud bath, zip-lining, swimming, kayaking, adventure course, caving etc. 16:00 - 17:15: Depart back to Phong Nha village or Dong Hoi City. Tour ends and you will be dropped off at your hotel.
