The tour begins at 12:00 pm at the tourist office in Epernay with an English-speaking guide. It starts with a 15-minute drive along Avenue de Champagne, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its prestigious Champagne estates. Next, the group visits the village of Hautvillers for about 45 minutes to walk through the village streets and see the church where Dom Pérignon is buried. After Hautvillers, the tour continues to Ay-Champagne for a 2.5-hour stop at a Champagne estate. Here, lunch is served alongside a tasting of five different Champagnes. Following lunch, the tour proceeds to a small, family-run Champagne producer in the Champagne-Ardenne area for a 1.5-hour visit. This includes a tasting and an explanation of their winemaking process. The entire tour lasts approximately five hours, ending with a return to the tourist office in Epernay at 4:45 pm. The tour includes tastings of five Champagnes, lunch, and pickup and drop-off within Epernay. Groups are limited to eight people, and any dietary requirements should be communicated when booking.
