The tour lasts 90 minutes and covers about 1.5 miles through Charlotte’s Uptown neighborhood. The route begins at the main office, located up two flights of stairs inside the building, then proceeds past the exterior of the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art and through the Mint Museum Uptown area. Riders continue through Fourth Ward Park, where they see 18th and 19th-century architecture, spending about 10 minutes in this area. The tour ends with a 5-minute ride through The Green park. Helmets and Segway use are included. Participants must weigh between 100 and 280 pounds, be able to stand for the entire duration, and climb stairs at the start location. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult with a signed waiver. The tour does not include gratuities, hotel pickup or drop-off, or lunch.
