The carts have thick cushioned seats and seat belts for a comfortable and safe ride. A friendly, experienced local guide provides commentary throughout the tour, sharing information about the city's history and recent developments. The route includes stops or drive-bys of historical churches, courthouses, hotels, museums, theaters, and homes dating back to 1867. Notable landmarks along the way include the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Spectrum Center (home of the Charlotte Hornets), Bank of America Stadium (home of the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC), Truist Field (home of the Charlotte Knights), Discovery Place Science museum, Mint Museum Uptown, Levine Museum of the New South, and the Fourth Ward neighborhood known for its historic architecture. The tour operates in all weather conditions; if rain or cold weather is expected, it will take place in a heated and cooled shuttle bus instead of the carts. Children under 5 ride free and must be accompanied by an adult. Groups of 5 to 7 people can arrange hotel pickup within uptown Charlotte by calling ahead.
