The road between Chiang Mai and Pai has many turns and takes about 3,5 hours one-way. On this day tour you will be about 7 hours in the car. Please prepare yourself in case you are prone to motion sickness. The driver of the private car speaks a little bit of English, just enough to communicate about the tour. Though it is not a proper tour guide. The size of the car depends on the amount of people booked. A standard car will be used for smaller groups, while a van will be used for bigger groups. Make sure you are dressed properly by temple standards to visit the temple: no bare shoulders, no bare knees. Thailand's rainfall is unpredictable, particularly during the monsoon season from May to December. Rest assured, the tour is guaranteed to proceed if conditions are safe, even in rain. Entrance fees might be changed by the owner slightly and are unannounced, this is out of our control. In the crop burning season from January to April, visibility might be less and is out of our control.
