Overview

This full-day guided tour lasts about 12 hours and includes visits to Chichén Itzá, the Sacred Cenote, and the town of Valladolid, with lunch provided. The tour begins with pickup from the hotel or a selected meeting point, followed by a transfer to Plaza la Isla 2 to board the main bus. The first stop is at Yaxkin Souvenirs Cancun, where guests attend a Mayan ceremony, visit a craft store, and sample chocolates and local food for about two hours. Next, the group spends around three hours at Chichén Itzá with a bilingual guide who explains the history and details of the Mayan ruins, including the Thousand Columns Market, Temple of the Warriors with the Chacmool statue, Ball Court, Temple of the Jaguar, and the Temple of Kukulcán. Afterward, there is a brief visit of approximately half an hour to Valladolid to see the colonial architecture of this Yucatán town. The tour then proceeds to the Sacred Cenote, where guests have one hour to swim or relax. Swimming requires a mandatory life vest, which is not included and must be paid separately. Finally, the bus returns guests to their original pickup location or the starting plaza. Included in the tour are transportation, entrance to Chichén Itzá, lunch, access to the Mayan store, the visit to Valladolid, and the Sacred Cenote. Guests must present personal identification and notify if they are Mexican nationals. A mandatory fee is required when boarding the bus.
