The Chocolate Bar Making Workshop at York Cocoa Works takes place in their academy and lasts 75 minutes. Participants begin by learning about the origins of cocoa. The instructor then demonstrates how to temper chocolate properly. Each participant works with their own choice of chocolate and ingredients to make a 160-gram chocolate bar. During the session, attendees experiment with different flavors to create their own chocolate bar. Once the chocolate has set, participants package their bars to take home. The workshop welcomes chocolate lovers of all ages and skill levels. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a full-paying adult.
