"Jinfo Mountain, how majestic, ethereal amidst clouds and mist" is a beautiful portrayal of Jinfo Mountain. Spring is a sea of flowers, summer is a paradise for escaping the heat, autumn is covered with red leaves, and winter is a world of ice and snow. Valleys and peaks stretch for dozens of large and small mountain ranges, with approximately 100 steep and towering peaks. Jinfo Mountain's natural karst caves are scattered like stars, with mountains, rivers, and dams within the caves, intertwined in layers. Jinfo Mountain is located in Nanchuan District, Chongqing, and is a World Natural Heritage site, famous for its magnificent golden cliffs and spectacular sea of clouds. Whenever the setting sun shines, the mountain body resembles a golden Buddha, with extraordinary grandeur. The scenic area is divided into two parts: the West Slope and the North Slope. Tourists can choose the classic route of "up the West Slope, down the North Slope" to enjoy the full view. The West Slope is mainly characterized by secluded valleys and bamboo forests. Visitors can hike through the Bitan Yougu (Emerald Pool Secluded Valley) or take a sightseeing bus directly to the ropeway station. After ascending the mountain by ropeway, proceed along the Jinguichaoyang (Golden Turtle Facing the Sun) trail to admire the towering peaks, cliffs, and the spectacular sea of clouds, reaching the visitor center in about 1.5 hours. During peak season, a car can be taken to the North Slope; during off-peak season, local small cars provide shuttle services. The North Slope has steep terrain and dense attractions. Tourists can stroll along the ancient plank road of the "Yongling Ancient Path" to explore the mysterious Ancient Buddha Cave and the Array of 500 Arhats, experiencing the wonder of the karst caves and the stunning interplay of Buddha statues and light. The cave entrance is surrounded by cliffs on three sides, making it an ideal spot for viewing the sea of clouds and sunrise. In addition, the North Slope also features a unique ecological stone forest, where strange rocks and ancient towering trees coexist, full of vitality. The entire tour takes approximately one day, and accommodation facilities are available on the mountain top, West Slope, and North Slope, making it convenient for tourists to stay overnight and enjoy the scenery.
