Overview

This guided clear kayak tour lasts about two hours to two hours and fifteen minutes on the Weeki Wachee River in Florida. Starting at Mary's Fish Camp, you paddle tandem clear kayaks through a quiet estuary where fresh and salt water mix. The route follows spring-fed waters upstream before drifting back to the launch site. Along the way, the guide points out local wildlife such as manatees, dolphins, turtles, fish, and birds, and helps with photos. The tour stays entirely in kayaks to protect the sensitive river environment. The paddling upstream offers a workout, balanced by an easier return trip.
