This Clearwater River rafting trip takes place in Wells Gray Park, British Columbia, Canada, and lasts about three and a half hours. The trip covers approximately 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) of the river, known for its exciting whitewater sections. A professional guide leads the rafting, providing all necessary equipment and safety instructions before the trip begins. The rafting route includes four hours of active paddling through the river’s rapids. The trip finishes in Canada’s Waterfall Capital, allowing participants to explore this area after the rafting. The tour does not include food, drinks, souvenir photos, DVDs, gratuities, or hotel transfers. It operates in all weather conditions, so appropriate clothing is recommended. Children must be accompanied by an adult, with a minimum age of 12 years and minimum weight of 90 pounds (41 kilograms). Participants should wear running shoes or secure sandals, and bring a strap for eyeglasses. Females are advised to wear a bathing suit under a change of clothes, and males should wear quick-dry shorts.

It is the drainage basin for the entire area of Wells Gray. Described by Richard C. Bocking in his book the “Mighty River” as one of the most dynamic tributaries of the entire Fraser River system, the Clearwater River is the culmination of an incredible concentration of waterfalls, rapids, and chutes, probably the greatest in BC.
