Cobh Rebel Walking Tours

The tour starts outside the Cobh Heritage Centre at the first of 16 sites, the "Aud," a German arms ship scuttled and sunk near Cork Harbour in 1916. The guide recounts the ambushes and experiences of the Cobh Volunteers, conveying the tension and determination of the time. Participants should bring a camera, raincoat, and umbrella. The 90-minute tour concludes at the Mauritania Bar, where tea or coffee is provided.

The guide will be wearing a miltary uniform of a Irish volunteer outside The Heritage Centreby The Quays. Sigh Post are avaiable to direct travellers

the Tour finishes in Town with coffee shops, gift shops, grocery shops and good Irish bars. due to Covid19 Wet Pubs remain closed. Resturants and cafe will open and only sell alcohol when a meal of €9 is purchased. Face Mask must be worn in all shops and public places.
