Overview

This private tuk-tuk tour through Colombo lasts about three to four hours and includes all entry fees. The tour can start at a time that suits you, either in the morning or evening. It begins with a visit to Gangaramaya Temple, where you spend about 25 minutes exploring its Buddhist architecture and artifacts. Next is a 15-minute stop at Independence Memorial Hall to see the monument and its gardens. The tour continues to the Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque, known as the Red Mosque, for a 15-minute visit. You will also visit the Maritime Museum area and the nearby Sambodhi Chaithya stupa for around 30 minutes. Then there is a 10-minute stop at Colombo Lighthouse and the adjacent Clock Tower from 1857. The colonial Old Parliament Building is next for 10 minutes, followed by a 20-minute break at Viharamahadevi Park where you can walk or relax by the lake.
