This guided tour of Delhi lasts between four and eight hours and covers both Old and New Delhi by air-conditioned car. The tour begins with a hotel or airport pickup anywhere in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, or Faridabad between 8 AM and 12 PM. The first stop is Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, built in 1656 with red sandstone and located near the Red Fort. Next, the tour continues in Chandni Chowk, where a tuk-tuk ride through the busy bazaars includes a visit to Khari Baoli, a well-known spice market. After the tuk-tuk ride, the group passes the Red Fort (viewed from outside due to Indian Army occupancy) and drives past India Gate and Parliament House, with photo stops and commentary. The tour then visits Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the first garden tomb in India, or alternatively the Akshardham Temple if preferred.
