Overview

This half-day city tour in Doha lasts about four hours and is designed for transit passengers with a stopover at Hamad International Airport. The tour begins with pickup at exit gate number 4 in an air-conditioned vehicle. The first stop is a scenic drive past the Museum of Islamic Art, located on its own island near the traditional dhow harbor, with views of the waterfront Corniche. The tour continues with an outside view of the National Museum of Qatar, which opened in March 2019. Next, passengers spend approximately two hours exploring Souq Waqif, a marketplace known for traditional garments, spices, handicrafts, souvenirs, and numerous restaurants and shisha lounges. After the souq, the tour proceeds to Katara Cultural Village, where visitors have about 30 minutes to see the waterfront amphitheater, museum, shops, eateries, and beach area. The final sightseeing stop is The Pearl-Qatar, an artificial island covering nearly four square kilometers, notable for allowing freehold ownership by foreign nationals. Guests have about 30 minutes here to walk along the promenades and take photos. The tour concludes with a return transfer to Hamad International Airport in time for the next flight. Included in the tour are an English-speaking guide, water, tea, or coffee, and airport pickup and drop-off services. A meal can be added if selected when booking.
