The Arabian desert near Dubai offers a unique setting for a 6.5-hour desert safari by 4x4 SUV. The tour begins with a 30-minute dune bashing session across high sand dunes to provide an exciting ride. Afterward, guests can enjoy a camel ride of about 200 meters, which can be repeated if desired. Sand boarding is available for those who want to try sliding down the dunes. The safari continues with a visit to Majlis camp, a large desert camp located in the middle of the desert. Here, a five-course BBQ dinner is served, including vegetarian options and Jain food upon request. While dining, guests have unlimited tea, coffee, soft drinks, and mineral water. Traditional Arabic music plays throughout the evening, and live performances include belly dance, thannura dance, and a fire show, except during Ramadan when the belly dance is not performed. Additional activities at the camp include henna application and shesha smoking. Facilities include toilets and a campfire or bonfire during winter.
