The Dubai Desert Safari lasts about six to seven hours and starts with hotel pickup in an air-conditioned 4x4 Land Cruiser. The drive from Dubai city to the desert takes around 45 to 60 minutes, passing the city’s skyline and landmarks before reaching the desert dunes. Upon arrival at the first desert stop, guests can freshen up and use washrooms. Optional activities such as quad biking or dune buggy rides are available for an extra charge, with options for 30-minute or one-hour rides. The main activity is dune bashing, where an experienced driver takes guests over sand dunes in a Land Cruiser. After dune bashing, sandboarding is offered to those who want to try it. Next, guests take a short camel ride across the desert sands. The safari then continues to a Bedouin-style desert camp where fresh dates, Arabic coffee, and soft drinks are served.
