This seven-hour Dubai desert safari begins with hotel pickup in an air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle driven by a licensed English-speaking guide. The tour starts with dune bashing across red sand dunes up to 70 feet high in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. The vehicle used is a comfortable Toyota Land Cruiser. During the drive, the guide provides information about Middle Eastern culture and traditions. There are stops for photos of the desert landscape, and the guide also takes pictures of guests. After approximately three hours of dune bashing and desert driving, the tour continues to the Sahara Desert Fortress, Dubai’s only illuminated desert fortress camp. Here, guests enjoy a luxury 5-star buffet banquet featuring international and Arabian dishes, including fresh salads, soups, grilled meats from a live BBQ station, vegetarian options, desserts, and coffee or tea.
