Overview

The Dubai Evening Desert Safari begins with a shared 4x4 pickup from the guest's hotel, residence, or chosen location within the city. The driver transports guests to the Lahbab Red Dunes, known for their red sand and popular sunset views. The journey from Dubai to the desert takes about two hours. Upon arrival at the Lahbab Desert, guests start with a short camel ride suitable for photos and a quiet moment in the sand. Next, a licensed desert professional drives a 4x4 vehicle for 35 to 40 minutes of dune bashing across the red dunes. After dune bashing, guests can try sandboarding on soft dunes and visit a high dune viewpoint to take photos of the sunset as the desert changes color. The safari also includes a falcon photo opportunity during the desert activities. Following these experiences, guests travel to the Premium Desert Camp located in Lahbab. Upon arrival, guests receive a welcome with Arabic coffee, dates, and sweets. At the camp, guests may choose to get henna designs, wear traditional Arabic clothing for photos, relax in the shisha area, or take another short camel ride inside the camp. The evening features five live shows performed in varying order: Tanoura dance, Belly dance, Fire show, Khaleeji dance, and Dabke dance. A BBQ dinner buffet is served under the stars, offering grilled meats, hot dishes, salads, and desserts in a comfortable setting. After the dinner and entertainment, the driver returns guests to their original Dubai pickup location. The entire experience lasts approximately six to seven hours.
