by Dubai Leisure Holidays
This private desert safari in Dubai lasts about seven hours with pickup and drop-off by a 4x4 vehicle from any location within Dubai city limits. The tour begins with 20 to 30 minutes of dune bashing in the Red Dunes, followed by a stop to take photos of the sunset. After dune bashing, participants try SandSurfing on the dunes, then take a short camel ride. There is also an opportunity to have a photo taken with a falcon. The group then moves to a deluxe desert camp where traditional local coffee (Gahwa) and a sweet called Luqaimat are served upon arrival. Dinner is provided with table service by a waiter and includes a Middle Eastern-style BBQ meal along with soft drinks, tea, coffee, and mineral water. Guests can watch seven entertainment shows under the stars and use a designated area for shisha. Small henna designs are offered for ladies and children. Alcoholic beverages and shisha at the table are not included, nor are souvenirs or quad bike/ATV buggy rides. Vegetarian meals are available if requested during booking. Infant seats can be provided if advised in advance. Pregnant women and children under 3 years old are not permitted on the dune bashing portion but may join the desert camp experience with additional transfer fees.
