Overview

This desert safari in Dubai lasts about 6 to 7 hours and includes a variety of activities in the Lahbab red dunes and a premium desert camp. The tour starts with pickup from your Dubai or Sharjah hotel in a shared 4x4 vehicle. You’ll travel through the city and countryside to the desert, with water provided during the transfer. Once at the dunes, you’ll begin with a camel ride across the desert landscape. Then you’ll have a 25-minute quad bike session on marked tracks, including a safety briefing and all necessary gear. After that, a skilled driver will take you dune bashing in a 4x4 for roughly 30 to 40 minutes. You can also try sandboarding down the dunes. The group will stop on a high dune to take photos of the sunset. The evening continues at a Premium Desert Camp in Al Awir. Here, you can wear traditional Arabic clothing for photos and enjoy henna painting if you choose. A BBQ buffet dinner with vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes is served outdoors. While you eat, five live shows take place: belly dance, Tanoura, fire show, Khaleeji dance, and Dabke folk dance. After the entertainment, you’ll return to your hotel in the same 4x4 vehicle. A licensed safari driver and guide accompany the entire tour.
