Overview

This full-day trip lasts about 15 hours and combines travel by train and coach starting from Dublin Heuston Station. A qualified driver-guide accompanies the group on coaches, and a host is available on the trains. The journey begins with a train departure at 7 AM sharp after check-in by 6:40 AM near the Customer Service Desk at Heuston Station. The first main stop is Bunratty Castle and Folk Park near Limerick. This 15th-century castle, completed in 1425 and restored after a period of neglect, is surrounded by a folk park featuring buildings relocated and rebuilt from various sites in the region. Visitors have about 90 minutes here. Next, the tour travels to the Cliffs of Moher, some of the highest sea cliffs in Europe, where participants have two hours of free time. Following this, the coach takes the coastal road toward Galway, passing through The Burren national park. Here, the landscape consists of a unique limestone terrain known for its diverse plant life. The trip includes a short stop for photos along this route. The final stop is Eyre Square in Galway, allowing about one hour of free time for shopping, dinner, or exploring depending on traffic conditions.
