Overview

The tour begins with a pickup at an arranged location and a transfer to the operator’s office in Župa dubrovačka. Participants receive a safety helmet and attend a 15-minute briefing on how to operate the Can-Am ATV vehicles safely. Additional instructions are given to drivers before the safari starts in the village of Čelopeci. The route passes through several old local villages, countryside, meadows, and olive groves, where riders may see farm animals such as donkeys, horses, sheep, and goats. The safari includes an off-road section leading to Mount Srd, where the group stops for about 15 minutes to view and photograph the newer parts of Dubrovnik and the Elaphiti Islands. Next, the tour stops for 10 minutes at Strincjera, a historic Austrian guard post located 400 meters above sea level, overlooking the northern and eastern slopes of Mount Srd and the approaches to Dubrovnik. The final stop lasts approximately 30 minutes at a viewpoint offering views of the Adriatic Sea, Lokrum Island, and Dubrovnik’s Old Town. After this, riders return on their ATVs to the starting point. The entire tour lasts about three hours and includes the use of a Can-Am ATV vehicle, roundtrip transportation, bottled water, a traditional Croatian surprise delicacy, safety equipment, and secure storage for personal items.
