Siray in Phuket is home to an elephant care camp focused on the welfare of disabled, elderly, and retired working elephants. This four-hour bus-accessible program invites visitors to feed, walk, and bathe the elephants in the sea near a scenic viewpoint. The camp covers a large area to provide space for the elephants to live comfortably. Visitors begin by making vitamin balls to feed the elephants and then spend time feeding and brushing them. A walk with the elephants through the forest follows, allowing close interaction in a natural setting. Afterward, participants shower the elephants by the sea viewpoint. Included is a Thai cooking class where guests learn to prepare Phad-thai. Lunch is provided during the visit. Pickup is available from multiple areas in Phuket, including Siray, Panwa, Phuket city, Atong, Kata-Karon, Rawai, Chalong, Maikow, Naiyang, Naitorn, Bangtao, and Cherng-Talay.
